In 2008 we had senior teams in the following competitions
- Division 1 This is the top Local League with games
being played here and South in Ashburton and North in Rangiora.
- Mainland Player Development League? The step up team to the Mainland side. This team is
our reserves, the competition is for under 23 year old players with an allowance of 6 older players. Aimed
at youth players with ambition.
- Division 2 The Avon United team of the year 2006. An opportunity to play against
the best of the rest, comprising of
the best Chinese, Japanese, Korean and New Zealand youth can offer. Very competitive football but with slightly
less pressure and time committments than first or reserves. Sorry Team Full
- Division 3 Our team of young accountants, lawyers and other
professionals. Sorry Team Full
- Division 4 The student team. Sorry Team Full
- Masters Div 1 The core of the top performing
Riccarton team from the mid 1990's - hopefully destined to become a great masters team.
- Masters Div 3 A group of senior players, always on the lookout for new players
as the current ones wear out.
- 19th Grade The top 19 year old grade.
- Womens Mainland League This is the top Local League for Women.
- Womens Division 1 This is the reserve competition for women.
- Womens Division 3 This is a social/fun level for women.
