Game 1 v Halswell, Halswell, 5 April, Result 4-1 win
Scorers: Nathan - 2, Luuc - 1, Simon H - 1
Game 2 v Western, Riccarton Domain, 12 April, Result 1-0 loss
Bit of a blip after a strong first game. Down early to a well taken goal by a Western forward on the turn, although it has to be said normally we wouldn't have given him so much time. We had 3 good chances to win it but shot straight at the keeper each time.

Game 3 v Woolston-Tech, Garrick Park, 19 April, Result 2-2 draw
Tech applied the early pressure but we got the first goal and were 1 up at half time. Early in the second half Tech scrambled one in from a free kick. Jp then responded with his second. We were leading until the final minutes when they got a corner and snuck a draw. Some food for thought for Koresh as he watched his wonder boys from the national youth squad struggle to get a point against guys of a similar age but fitter and more determined.

Game 4 v Burnside, Riccarton Domain, 26 April, Result 3-1 loss
We faced some early pressure and Craig did well to parry away a close range shot from a breakaway down our left. Not too long after
we twice lost the ball on our right and both times their winger finished well after 2 good runs. We the steadied and should have had a goal
before half time, but failed to make anything of our chances.
Second half their guy got his hattrick with a similar move converted from a bit further out. JP latched onto a through ball which he lobbed
over the keeper. JP was player of the day as he ran hard and never gave up (great attitude and a sign of his increasing maturity as a player this
year). Thanks to Craig for filling in while James played for the firsts.

Game 5 v Nomads, Tullett Park, 3 May, Result 5-1 loss
Should have been up at half time but ended up 2 goals behind. Forgettable second half.

Game 6 v Ferrymead, Barnett Park, 10 May, Result 3-0 win
By all accounts a different team to last week.

Game 7 v Coastal Spirit, Avonhead Park, 17 May, Result 2-1 win
Beat the top team, man did they abuse us, the ref and anything else going.

Game 8 v Halswell, Riccarton Domain, 24 May, Result 5-4 loss
Bit of a letdown after last weeks high. Played OK in patches. First gaol they got was a clear shove and poor Andeas was bundled off the ball but the goal was given. Second was a terrible bounce as our keeper was diving. Just a bad day.

Game 9 v Western, Walter Park, 31 May, Result 2-0 loss
The guys never really got started today. We backed off and generally didn't get stuck in, it was as if we already knew we were going to lose. The Western team weren't very good but we couldn't lift ourselves to do the business. Possibly Andreas was the pick of the players on a bad day.

Game 11 v Ferrymead, Riccarton Domain, 14 June, Result 2-1 win
A lucky win but we'll take it.

Game 12 v Burnside, Burnside Park, 21 June, Result 2-0 loss
A lack of committment by all those that A) failed to turn up and B) those that did turn up. A very soft goal before half time that our defenders just watched bobble in and a lack of concentration after half time. C'mon guys lets beat them just once.

Game 13 v Rangers, Riccarton Domain, 28 June, Result 4-3 loss
We started well and were up 2-0 with JP and Jeff scoring before Rangers broke back to sneak one past us just before half time. Second half we went up 3-1 with a goal to Ryan. Late on Gareth made some substitutions which didn't work and they put 3 past us in short order which was frustrating. Well done Glenn for stepping up(?) and playing well in goal.

A few regulars couldn't make the Sunday game, as couldn't coach Gareth. Somehow it didn't quite gel and we lost a game we might have won on another day.
