Scorers: Justin McLeod (1), Jezareal Jones (1), Cameron (2), Hamish (1)

Game 15 v Nomads, Tulett, July 29, Result 0-0 draw
Held on for a crucial point and probably killed Nomads chances of winning the league in the process, so a pretty good day. Rangers lost to bring us within 3 points of them.

English Cup v Woolston, Riccarton Domain, June 17, Result 0-1 loss
It's hard to put figure out exactly what happened at this game. Certainly Woolston wanted it more and were physically more dominant. They adapted better to the conditions, but it was our home ground. We were favourites and that means nothing in a cup game. Maybe it was a lack of experience on our part.
Bottom line is our season probably just got harder, though on the bright side at least we don't have the distraction of the English Cup!
Well done Cameron for making his first team debut - it's good to see another of our juniors coming through.

Game 9 v Western, Walter S1, June 10, Result 1-2 loss
A real heartbreaker. We started well and took the lead with a goal from Peter early on. However mid way through the half Western drew level. We created lots of chances and really should have put the match beyond doubt by half time.
Justin got a few knocks and was taken off for the second half. It was a very tight affair and everyone was thinking that a draw was how it would end. However Western managed to pinch the points on full time with a run down the middle.
This was really frustrating for all on the park and those supporting the team, somedays football can be cruel. Having said that the guys did perform really well and this could genuinely be the turning point in the season. If we take on board what we learnt here we will have what it takes to pick up points against Rangers in the coming weeks. Player of the day (from the sidelines) was Matt Francis.
Scorer: Peter (1)

Chatham Cup v Nomads, Tulett Park, June 5, Result 0-2 loss
A highly defensive formation coupled with some basic defensive mistakes saw us exit the cup. A large amount of the ball we got was lost or kicked away needlessly. Player of the day (from the sidelines) was Peter who ran really hard and looked like he had the skill to do some damage, unfortunately apart from Nick no one else looked in the same class. Matt kept the score looking respectable.

Game 8 v Christchurch United, QE2, June 3, Result 1-2 loss Scorer: ?

Game 7 v Nelson, Riccarton Domain, May 28, Result 0-2 loss
Didn't take our chances. Both Matts were superb.

Chatham Cup v North Canterbury, Kendall, May 20, Result 4-1 win
We have the start of a Chatham Cup run, well done lads.

Game 6 v Nomads, Riccarton Domain, May 6, Result 0-3 loss
Didn't take our early chances.

Game 5 v Technical, Ensors Road, April 29, Result 0-2 loss

A six pointer and we got none. Managed to win the bookings comp. Really looking forward to being back to full strength this week.

Game 4 v Ferrymead, Riccarton Domain, April 22, Result 0-3 loss

Too big, too powerful. Congrats to James for his MPL debut as keeper.

Game 3 v Halswell, Halswell Domain, April 15, Result 1-0 win

Our first win for 2 years - more history has been made.
