Aug 13, Cup Qual, 2-1 loss to Chch United Winning for a while but we faded to lose 2-1. A better performance than previous weeks with an almost full squad. Aug 6, Game 18, The Bye July 30, Game 17, 4-1 loss against Burnham Our keeper played outfield and got the goal. Ross played another good game in goal. We created loads of chances and feel we should have got a result. July 23, Game 16, 2-1 loss against Ashburton Eastern Eric got the goal. Ross played great in goal. For a change we felt like we should have won. Everyone was pretty happy and went back to the pub after. July 16, Game 15, 4-1 loss against Rakaia We had the opportunites to win this but mistakes at the front and back cost us dearly. Another frustrating day, but the team still has the potential and players to make good, just need some luck. July 9, Game 14, 4-2 loss against Burnside The team ended up understrength somehow when the Pressies C-B team players somehow got confused and didn't show (thinking their friendly was still on). Frustratingly we played the better football and lost. July 2, Game 13, win by default v University June 25, Game 12, 2-0 loss against Brighton Another shortage of regular players but we got a starting eleven. In it till the last 10 mins when we let in two. June 18, Game 11, 10-0 loss against Cashmere A shortage of regular players such as Rhys, Andrei, Dave, Mike D, Rico etc didn't help the combinations. Not really sure what happened or what the final score was, best forgotten. June 11, Game 10, 1-0 win against Western The Canterbury League players Jerry, Gareth and Leo got a win today. Dave H got his first goal of the year. June 4, Game 9, 5-2 loss to Christchurch United Two nil up at half time lost to Chch Utd who fielded ten and later on nine players in the second half. Division 1 May 28, Game 8, 4-1 loss to Parklands One all at half time. Dan brought himself off in the second half and we leaked goals. May 14, Game 7, 6-2 loss to Tech Not so good as Tech are also a struggling side. Aaron being away and Michael D having exams didn't help. Our new player Ko impressed everyone, so maybe if and when we are at full strenght we can do well. Game 6, 8-0 loss to Nomads Not much to report, Danny got injured, Ross came on and we lost. Game 5, 1-0 loss to Burnside Game 4, 5-3 loss to Christchurch United Someone to supply a report Game 3, The Bye Game 2, 6-2 loss to Western at Elmwood A much improved performance. Half time was 3-1 to Western. We brought it back to 3-2 shortly after half time. Game 1, 9-0 loss to Woolston at Avonhead Not a good start with players such as Andrei sick, Jai injured and others arriving late. We will get better. |
