Code of Conduct

Players Parents Spectators
  1. Play for the fun and enjoyment of the game. Not just to please your parents

  2. Learn and play by the FIFA laws of the game

  3. Never argue with the referee or assistant referee

  4. Control your temper and use your energies for playing better football

  5. Play well for yourself and your team, your team's performance will benefit asw well as your own

  6. Be a good sport. Recognise all good play, whether from your team or your opposition

  7. Treat all players with respect. Do not interfere with, bully, or take unfair advantage of any player

  8. Remember the aim of the game; to have fun, improve your skills, and feel good

  9. Co-operate with your coach/manager, team mates, and opponents, for without them there is no game

  10. Promote the code of conduct to all around you
  1. Do not force an unwilling child to participate in football

  2. Remember children are involved in football for their enjoyment not yours

  3. Encourage your child to play by the laws of the game and not to argue with officials

  4. Teach your child honest effort is more important than victory

  5. Turn losing into development by helping your child work towards skill improvement and sportsmanship

  6. Remember that children learn best by example. Applaud good play by your team and the opposition

  7. Do not question the referee's judgment or honesty. Remember they are only human, and make honest errors

  8. Support all efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse from the game

  9. Recognise the value and importance of coaches, who are all volunteers, giving your children their time and resources

  10. Make sure you know the laws of the game, to better understand what is going on

  2. Be on your best behavior, Do not use profane language or physically or verbally harass players, coaches, officials, or other spectators

  5. Never ridicule or scold a child for making a mistake during the game

  6. Condemn the use of violent and verbal abuse

  7. Respect the referee's judgment and honesty. They are only human

  9. Read the laws of the game to better understand what you are looking at and commenting on
